And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of Him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of Him: That He lives!

Hello everyone! This has been such a special week for us in seeing the miracles and blessings that come from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is truly remarkable to think about the blessings and joy that we receive as we live and apply the principles of the Gospel. This month we have the great opportunity to celebrate the life, ministry, and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Not only did He establish His church and performed many miracles, He continues to live today and the tender blessings and peace that come through His Atonement are with us.

My ponderize scripture this week will be D&C 76:22-24 : "And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of Him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of Him: That He lives!  For we saw Him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that He is the Only Begotten of the Father—  That by Him, and through Him, and of Him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God."

It is truly amazing to ponder how much it means to us to have a Savior and that He was able to atone for all of our mistakes and our shortcomings. He has felt all of our pains and sorrows and through Him, we can have lasting peace and a sure foundation to overcome any trial and challenge. We can always look to our savior for help and guidance. He will never leave us alone. He will always be by our side.

This past week has been a very great week for us. Many miracles have been seen and we are truly grateful for the eyes to see them everyday in the work. As we have been teaching Sophia, we have been able to find many tender mercies in being able to prepare her for her baptism. We were able to get permission from her father to baptize her which was a huge sign that she needs to be baptized. We have also been trying to help Carlos in seeing the blessings of missionary work. We are hoping that he can begin preparing for his mission in the near future!

Yesterday we had the amazing opportunity to have Sophia Mendez's baptism! It was such a special day to be able to see her family there to support her in her decision to be baptized into the Lords true church. It was such a blessing being able to have her brother Carlos be ordained to a priest and be able to baptize her that same day. It has been a tremendous blessing being able to see lives change and come closer to our Heavenly Father and our Savior.

Daniel is continuing to progress and we are still going by to see how he is doing with the Word of Wisdom. We have been seeing so much light come into his life as well as his family as they have been going to church and in living the Gospel. We invited him to be baptized on the 20th of this month! We are very excited for this opportunity to continue teaching him and preparing him for his baptism. Ramon has been doing great! We are excited to see him baptized this coming weekend. It's so neat being able to see his understanding grow and his spirit being enlightened. I am so very thankful for this Gospel!

The weather here has been a very nice change from the constant 80 degrees. It is pretty amazing how much different the weather is here than in Idaho at this time of year. I'll be frozen this time of year when I get back home! It will be pretty interesting to see how summer will go here in these next few months.

I am so excited for this time of year. I love being able to ponder more fully our Savior and His love for all of us. It's truly amazing that because our Savior died and atoned for us, we can be freed from sin and receive a perfected, resurrected body. I am eternally thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. He loves us all so much and wants us to use His precious gift so that we can receive lasting and enduring peace.

Thank you all for the prayers, they truly help so much. I love you all so much!! Hope you all have an amazing week!

Love,

Elder Munro
